With hot weather on the way, all beaches in Lake County are open for swimming. This includes three that were closed last week due to high bacteria levels.

According to the Lake County Health Department, the three beaches were located in on Bangs Lake in Wauconda and were closed when elevated levels of E’ Coli were detected.

The Lake County Health Department monitors waters throughout Lake County from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Currently there are no warnings for any Lake County beach.
