On Wednesday night, a shooting took place at a Waukegan strip mall leaving one man dead.
Around 6:20pm, Waukegan police responded to a shooting at the mall located in the 1300 block of North Green Bay Road. Three men were found shot in the parking lot. The men were transported to area hospitals for treatment.
One of the men, a male in his 20s from North Chicago, died Thursday morning from his injuries. The other two, also from North Chicago and in their 30s, are in stable condition.
According to police, multiple rounds were fired and all were in the parking lot. Currently the police are not reporting a known motive for the shooting.
