Fox Lake IL – On Saturday night, a man was hit and killed by a Metra train between Fox Lake and Ingleside on the Milwaukee District North line.

According to officials, the train was traveling about 50mph near Rollins Road around 10:15pm. Trains were delays as a result of the incident.
The man was taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center and was pronounced dead. At this time, the man’s identify has not been released.
