Scoop Waukegan takes place on July 12th from 5pm to 9pm and July 13th from 12pm to 9pm. There is no registration fee for Open Scoop. Safe driving and rules of the road apply… no burnouts, no reckless driving, no drinking and driving. The Scoop Marshals decisions will be respected.
There are some great bands this year. Eddie Domino and the Domino Effect will be playing in downtown from 6:30pm to 8:30pm on the 12th. DJ Spontaneous will be playing good music downtown on the 13th from 12pm to 3pm.
Gospel On The Beach will be at the Stiner Pavillion on Saturday the 13th from 12pm to 8pm.
Also on the 13th will be Caliente from 3:30pm to 5:30pm in downtown. Rafael Mendez takes the downtown stage from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
There will be a variety of food vendors this year. The downtown restaurants will also have a wide variety of food and drinks available.
This year promises to be one of the best Scoopin Waukegan events yet! Be sure to be there.
